Detailed Itinerary
Chandigarh → Shimla
Morning pickup from Chandigarh Airport/Railway station. Drive to Shimla (120 kms, 4-5 hrs). Evening check-in. Overnight stay.
Shimla — Kufri + Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Kufri and local Shimla sights — Mall Road, Ridge, Scandal Point, Lakkar Bazar, Kali Bari Temple. Horse & yak riding (own cost). Overnight stay.
Shimla → Sangla
Travel to Sangla via Sarahan (220 kms, 8-9 hrs). Visit 1500-year-old Bhimakali Temple at Sarahan (one of 51 Shakti Peethas). Bird Park with Jujurana and Monal birds. Continue to Sangla (Baspa Valley). Visit Kamru Fort. Dinner and overnight stay.
Sangla — Chitkul — Kalpa
After breakfast, explore Kamru Fort & Temple (Goddess Kamakhya Devi). Post-lunch excursion to Chitkul — the last village on Indo-Tibetan trade route. Walk through green orchards. Return to Kalpa. Dinner and overnight stay.
Kalpa → Nako → Tabo
After breakfast, drive towards Kalpa with panoramic views of Kinnaur Kailash (Kinner Kailash). Visit Nako Lake and Village. Continue to Tabo (150 kms, 5 hrs). Check in. Dinner and overnight stay.
Tabo — Mummy Point — Hikkim — Komik — Langza — Kaza
After breakfast, visit Tabo Monastery (Ajanta of the Himalayas) with ancient caves and Thanka paintings. Drive to the highest motorable road, Langza. En route visit Komik and Hikkim (world's highest post office). Later visit Dhankar Monastery. Dinner and overnight stay in Kaza.
Kaza — Chichim Bridge — Kunzum La — Ki & Kibbar Monastery — Kaza
After breakfast, visit Chichim Bridge, Kunzum La Pass, Ki Monastery, and Kibbar Monastery. Return to Kaza. Dinner and overnight stay.
Kaza → Kalpa
After breakfast, return journey towards Kalpa. En route enjoy the scenic landscapes. Check in. Dinner and overnight stay.
Kalpa → Chandigarh
After breakfast, drive to Chandigarh (8-9 hrs). Check in. Rest and overnight stay.
Chandigarh → Drop
After breakfast, drop at Chandigarh Airport/Railway station for onward journey.
